New Parking Registration for Students

Student Permit Availability Permits may now be purchased at the cashier's window of the Department of Public Safety at 285 Manning Drive. S11 Manning Lot permits are available to commuter students (live outside the 2-mile radius). PR Estes Lot permits are available to resident students (live in UNC Housing) All students must provide their valid vehicle registration and proof of insurance (includes policy number, expiration date, and limits of liability). |
The Commuter Alternative Program (CAP) offers options for commuting to and around campus for qualifying students. Program benefits include Bike Registration, Fare Free Local and Regional Transit, Free Park and Ride locations at the major corridors leading into the UNC Campus, and Zipcar, a carsharing program.
