Parking on Campus at UNC

Availability - There are a limited number of parking spaces available on campus. Every department has guidelines on employee parking eligibility. Your department Parking Coordinator will assist you in obtaining a permit or finding an alternative to parking.

How to get it- Contact your Parking Coordinator to see what is available to you.

Where you can Park- Check the Parking Permit Maps to see which lots are best for you. Make sure the lots you are interested in are available to you.

When you can Park with a Permit- Parking Permits are valid during the hours posted at the lot or during the hours printed on the permit. Some lots are reserved during special events. Information pertaining to when the lot is unavailable will be posted at the lot.

Service Permits- Service permits are available from your Parking Coordinator. They are valid in Service Parking Spaces and are intended for short term use.

Patient Parking for Employees - The Pay Lots on campus are for Visitors of the University and Visitors and Patients of the Hospital. Permit holders with a valid medical need to park in the Dogwood or ACC Lot can apply for a Employee Visitor Permit Here.

Alternatives to Parking- There are many ways for employees to get to work. Explore parking alternatives to see if one is right for you.
