Attention Chapel Hill Transit Customers:
Adjustments to CCX, NS Routes to Begin on Monday, August 18, 2008

As of Monday, August 18th, 2008, several adjustments will take effect aboard Chapel Hill Transit’s “NS” and “CCX” routes.

The CCX Route will now provide six (6) additional trips from the Chatham Park and Ride lot (located at the corner of  Route 15-501 and Old Lystra Road), departing the lot for the UNC campus at 5:20 am, 5:50 am, 6:20 am, 6:50 am, 7:20 am, and 7:50 am. These trips (“CCX Limited” highlighted in gray in the schedule--link below) travel north to the UNC campus on Route 15-501 without stopping. ALL trips will make a new stop serving the Ambulatory Care Center on South Columbia just north of Mason Farm Road before turning right onto Manning Drive. These express trips then turn south on West Drive, serving the Mary Ellen Jones Building at a temporary West Drive bus stop, turning right onto Mason Farm Road without stopping, and heading southbound on South Columbia Street directly to the Chatham Park and Ride Lot.

CCX service not highlighted in the schedule (link below) will NOT turn onto West Drive but will continue east on Manning Drive, stopping at Dogwood Parking Deck, and continuing to Ridge Road, South Road, and Pittsboro Street, before heading south on Route 15-501 to the Chatham Lot.
